This 2-hour rescue skills clinic is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively respond to emergency situations while Paddle-boarding. The course will focus on practical techniques.
Course objective:
Learn and practice various rescue techniques specific to stand-up Paddle-boarding.
Course Content:
- Basic rescue technique for assisting distressed paddle-boarders.
- Techniques for rescuing unconscious or injured induvial in the water.
- Strategies for rescuing multiple victims and managing group emergencies.
- Utilising rescue equipment.
Course Requirements:
- Participants must possess basic swimming skills and be comfortable in open water environments. They should also have prior experience in SUPing and be physically capable of performing rescue techniques on the water.
